Wedding Wednesday: The Wedding Details Nobody Remembers Until the Week Of
You booked the venue. The photographer is ready. Your flowers are ordered. The DJ has your playlist.
You're DONE.
...except for the approximately 47 tiny things that suddenly materialize the week before your wedding.
Who has the marriage license?
Who's bringing the card box?
Where does the cake knife come from?
Are your vendors getting meals?
Who's taking your gifts home?
Who has the décor at the end of the night?
Who is responsible for returning rentals?
And our personal favorite: Who actually knows where all of this stuff is supposed to go?
These aren't glamorous wedding-planning decisions, which is exactly why they're so easy to overlook.
A few weeks before your wedding, stop thinking about what you're buying and start thinking about movement and responsibility.
For every physical item, ask yourself:
How is it getting there? Who is setting it up? Where is it going? And who is taking it home?
Answer those four questions ahead of time and you'll eliminate a surprising amount of wedding-week chaos.
Tripoli & Co. Wedding Wednesday Tip: If an item magically needs to appear somewhere on your wedding day, assign a human to the magic.
